22 Aug Outfits Of The Week You’ll Love For Summer
Reading time: 3 minutes
This week I thought I’d try something different and blog about the outfits I wore last week. Personally, I love seeing these kinds of blog posts from other bloggers because I find inspiration from them. Hopefully this series I call “Outfits of the Week” will provide you with some outfit inspiration as well!
Monday, I kept it simple, but classy in this white blazer and black dress pants combination. I work in an office so this outfit was perfect for the corporate setting.
I paired the whole thing with a white, sleeveless, floral blouse and a simple pair of grey high heels.
I chose these shoes because they have a large heel that isn’t too high and that I can walk in.
Tuesday, I had dinner plans downtown in the evening, so I wore a flirty mid length skirt with a pretty off the shoulder black crop top.
I wore this skirt for an evening out because it’s long enough to be wind proof, but also because I love how flowy and airy it is.
I finished off the look with a dainty pair of gold sandals and a statement pair of earrings. It’s probably my favorite outfit I wore this week!
(The rest of the week I was pretty much in yoga pants and a sweater…up until Friday!)
Friday, I wore my favorite khaki blazer with a pair of blue jeans, a white tank top tucked inside and a small pair of fuchsia pink shoes.
This look was for another evening out for dinner and hanging out with friends because it kept me warm enough to stay outside the entire night, but still looked cute and put together.
Sunday, I had the pleasure of celebrating my sister’s birthday!
She hosted about 20 of her friends in our backyard so I thought wearing a cute romper and a pair of slider sandals would be an appropriate outfit for her party!
Then, I paired the look with a bohemian inspired necklace, hoop earrings and my favorite sunglasses.
Sunday, my parents hosted a nice dinner at our house in honor of Father’s Day. For the occasion, I chose a pair of mid length flowy pants.
I paired the pants with a simple black crop top with a teacup sleeve. I finished off the look with my grey high heels as I am a pretty short human.
What I love about the heels is they’re chunky, which means they’re comfortable enough for me to be able to run around the house and help my mom with the party.
I must say, as much as I love my orange skirt look, this outfit stole my heart this week as well!
Sometimes, we all need a little outfit inspiration. Especially, as elegant young professionals.
I hope you enjoyed this new type of blog post! Let me know in the comments which look was your favourite?
