15 Nov Outfits of The Week – Fall Edition
Reading time: 4 minutes
For today’s article, I wanted to bring a more personal element to LLEGANCE by writing about what I was up to a few weeks ago and my outfits of the week. Of course, a big part of my week is what I choose to wear for each occasion.
This article features the shots of my outfits from a few weeks back. Keep reading for outfit inspiration this fall and to find out what’s been going on.
Tuesday’s look

Every Tuesday I go to school during the day and do a Facebook live on TheTalko’s Facebook page at 5 pm EST. Doing a live requires a little more preparation than you may think! I write out my notes, then I set up the camera with the right lighting and lastly, I decide the outfit!
Normally, I try to wear something that will be comfortable enough for sitting in class, but also fashionable enough for doing the live. That day, I chose to wear my fluffy pink sweater from Forever 21 with a pair of grey jeans and black boots.
The sweater was perfect for school because of how comfortable it is, but also bright enough for drawing the attention of the Facebook audience.
Wednesday’s look

Wednesday afternoon, I noticed all the leaves had fallen to the ground. They created a perfect red, orange and yellow carpet over the grass. It was so beautiful that I couldn’t resist getting out there and taking a few Instagram pictures!
Honestly, I had spent my day indoors doing work, so getting a breath of fresh air for 20 minutes was really nice!

Since I was mostly just working, I wore a comfortable pair of black jeans from H&M, a sweater from Vero Moda and a mustard yellow scarf from Urban Outfitters for extra warmth and comfort.
I love a nice pop of yellow in the fall because it represents the changing of the leaves, and adds a vibrant element to a neutral outfit.
Thursday’s look

(This is Mavra, the designer of the corset I’m wearing, and myself)
On Thursday night, I had an awesome chance to style the LORI x GOSS Fashion Show.
As the models got their hair and makeup done (in a whirlwind), myself and the GOSS SQUAD got each of their outfits prepared. Seeing the carefully designed clothing items on a rack was like being in a candy store; exciting, dreamy and colorful.
(Shoutout to my friends Melania and Ivona that came out to support the event 🙂 )

The show consisted of Montreal based female entrepreneurs as the models, and only Montreal designers. The girls got to wear beautiful silk pieces from Wallo, statement fur jackets from Maison Elama, stunning gowns from Vala Bella and much more.
Literally every girl’s dream!
Overall, the show went really well, and despite the craziness backstage, we made it through!
After the show, I got the chance to wear a stunning corset designed by Mavra Toufidis. It was made of high quality silk and was covered in a delicate floral pattern. The best part of the corset was its elegant drape along my upper leg.
Needless to say, it was a great evening, and wearing that corset made it all that much better.

Friday’s look

Friday evening, my friends and I went out for dinner in honor of our friend’s birthday. This night truly consisted of good food, old friends and a lot of laughter.
For the occasion, I chose to wear a white, fitted pencil skirt from Aritzia, a black t-shirt / sweater from Zara and a pair of heeled leather boots from l’intervalle.
It was definitely a lovely dinner that reminded me how much old friends (really old, we’re talking 15 years of friendship over here) are so important to cherish.
Sunday’s look

Sunday was for family. We hosted a grand family brunch where my mom, my sister and I pitched in to help. On the menu was eggs, bacon, sausages, crepes, fruit, cheese, charcuterie, bread and much more! It was a feast at it’s finest.
I’m sure it comes as no surprise that after the meal, we were all in a food coma for the rest of the day. #noregrets
Because I knew we were going to eat so much, I wanted to wear something comfortable, yet put-together.
I ended up choosing a pair of black leggings, a waterfall sweater from Zara and a pair of black heeled suede boots from Call it Spring.
Making time for family is so important! That’s why, I plan to carry over this Sunday tradition into the next stages of my life.
Conclusion
There you have it! My outfits of the week. I hope you enjoyed both the outfits and hearing about my week. I don’t always have time to snap a picture of what I wear, but when I do, I always try to share it with you.
