24 Aug Outfits of the Week This Summer Season
Reading time: 3 minutes
Here’s the second instalment of my series: OOTW (outfits of the week). Last week, I kept my looks pretty casual, as I mostly hung out with friends and worked on writing a few articles. Check out the outfits I wore if you’re looking for outfit inspiration as an elegant young professional.
Monday’s look: striped pants.

Monday I wore these awesome pants to work, but switched into a pair of sandals for an evening out with friends.
It’s a really simple outfit, but I love how the pants make a statement and make the outfit more interesting. The pants and the white tank top are from H&M and the slides are from Aldo.
To finish off the look, I layered two necklaces and a few dainty rings.
Tuesday’s look: flirty beige dress.

I wore this dress and white t-shirt combination on Tuesday while I stayed home and worked on a few articles. It’s a really comfortable dress, but I still felt cute while working at home.
I find dressing up even a little bit makes such a difference in terms of boosting my productivity! The dress is from Forever 21, the t-shirt is from Aritzia and the sandals are from Topshop.
With this look, I added a simple gold chain necklace and my hoop earrings.
Wednesday’s look: denim dress.

Wednesday was the same concept as Tuesday. I hung out in this denim dress while working from home and editing pictures.
The look is very comfortable as well, yet still put-together for the day. I love wearing sundresses in the summer because they’re easy to wear and I feel both ready for the day and comfortable.
The dress is from H&M and the slides are from Aldo. With this dress, I wore a few chunky bracelets I love wearing in the summer and my tortoiseshell sunglasses.
Thursday’s look: yellow blouse.

I love a pop of color in the summer! Yellow is a great way to do that, so on Thursday, I wore this pretty lace blouse with a classic pair of black jeans and a wedge.
The blouse and the jeans are from H&M and the wedges are from a local store I found while on vacation.
This blouse called for a contrasting necklace, so I paired the outfit with my chunky wood necklace.
Friday’s look: bodycon skirt.

Friday night dinner and drinks meant I could wear my wrap skirt and an off the shoulder blouse. I love wearing wrap skirts at dinner because they’re both flattering and comfortable.
This one in particular is made with a little more stretch, so I can enjoy all the food I want. The black blouse and the sandals are from H&M and the skirt is from Aritzia.
To finish it off, I simply accessorized with one large bracelet and my gold hoop earrings.

Conclusion
I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but most of my clothing from my outfits of the week are from H&M! It’s definitely one of my favorite stores because of the variety of items they sell. Hope you enjoyed the article! Let me know which outfit was your favorite this week 🙂
